About Mr Badgers & The Copacabana Club

Mr Badgers is a European-style deli and bar on Logan Road in Woolloongabba's antique precinct. Its centrepiece is a full-size replica of the Palace 100 tram, a nod to the city's old tram line, fitted out with timber panelling, banquette seats and brass lamps. Behind the bar, a secret door leads into The Copacabana Club. This tropical-themed space has festoon lights, red umbrellas and a retractable roof, so it works as a snug room in winter and an open-air terrace in summer. Each area can be booked on its own. The Palace tram seats 12 to 18 for a set menu, Mr Badgers takes up to 20 seated or 60 standing, and the whole inside of Mr Badgers can be hired for 20 to 80 with the front alfresco as an option. The Copacabana Club seats up to 50 or holds 120 standing. Take both spaces together and the venue holds up to 200 guests for a cocktail party across two levels. A minimum spend applies to Friday and Saturday bookings. Food comes from share-style feasting menus for seated groups or canapé and substantial-item packages for stand-up events, with platters and grazing boards as add-ons. Drinks run on consumption, with a pre-paid bar tab, a cash bar or a mix of the two.

Food

Seated groups can choose a feasting menu served share-style at the table, built around a classic, Spanish or New York theme, with snacks, starters, mains and sides. Stand-up events use canapé packages such as arancini, gyoza and curry puffs, plus substantial items like calamari, sliders and karaage chicken.

Pizza platters, party platters and grazing boards can be added. Most dietary requirements can be catered for on request.
