About Hervé's Restaurant & Bar
Hervé's Restaurant & Bar is a French bistro on the first floor at 31 Collingwood Street, Albion, cooking food with a Southern French and Basque accent. High timber ceilings, warm finishes and an open kitchen set the mood, and the same kitchen cooks every event menu. There are six areas to book. The main restaurant seats up to 100, the bar takes about 50 standing or a long table of 20, and the Albion Room near the entrance suits seated lunches or cocktail-style gatherings of 25 or more. The Burgundy Room is the most private option, an enclosed dining room for up to 16 with its own staircase entry and a view of the city skyline. At the other end of the scale, The Chalet seats 250 or holds 350 standing, and booking it brings the open-air Terrace with its own bar for pre-dinner drinks. Stand-up events run on three canapé packages from $50 to $90 per person, with small and large canapés and dessert options, for a minimum of 20 guests. Seated events use four-course shared menus from $120 per person, and the Burgundy Room has its own set shared menus. Drinks come as Maison or Première packages of two to four hours, or as a bar tab where you pick the wines and beers and set a limit. Packages include four hours of exclusive use, set-up and pack-down, staff, candles or lamps, and the option to play your own music. Live music or a DJ can be brought in with the venue's approval, and microphones and other AV can be added. Access is step-free with a ramp and a lift, and the events team can arrange a walk-through before you send an enquiry to book.
