About Alderley Arms Hotel
The Alderley Arms Hotel has been the local pub on Samford Road in Alderley since 1886. It runs a bistro, a sports bar with pool and big screens, and a private function room for celebrations and work events. The private Function Room sits at the front of the hotel, away from the main bars. It takes up to 100 guests for a cocktail party, or 50 for a seated meal or theatre-style presentation. The room comes with a TV, projector, music and a microphone, so speeches and slideshows are easy to run. Helium balloons in a range of colours can be ordered to suit your theme. Food starts with shared platters for eight to ten people each, from antipasto and sandwiches to pastries, wings and a fried selection. Two and three course set menus are offered for groups of 20 or more, a buffet suits 50 or more, and a high tea option works well for bridal and baby showers. Drinks can run on a bar tab with a limit and drinks list you choose, or guests can buy their own on consumption. Celebration cakes for birthdays, engagements and weddings are welcome. Every booking gets a dedicated functions coordinator who confirms food, dietaries and timings two weeks out and sends a run sheet. A deposit equal to the room hire secures the date. For more casual groups, the bistro can host a big family lunch or team dinner, and a corner of the sports bar can be booked for a lively catch-up with the full menu on hand.

Platters serving eight to ten people range from $75 for fruit to $175 for the fried selection. A deposit equal to the room hire fee confirms the booking and is credited to your function account.

Yes. An 18th or 21st with more than 60 guests carries an extra $200 security fee to cover additional security staff.
