About Hamilton Hotel
The Hamilton Hotel has traded since 1865 beside the Brisbane River, where Racecourse Road meets Kingsford Smith Drive. Function spaces spread across two levels, and there is free parking on site. The H Lounge takes up the top floor, with views over the river, gold booth seating, a private bar, three raised stages, a DJ booth and a disco ball. It holds up to 700 standing or 150 seated, and can be partitioned for smaller groups. The River Room on the first floor is a self-contained open-plan space with its own bar, bathrooms, projector, screen and microphone, taking 120 standing or 50 seated. Both upstairs rooms are reached by stairs only. Downstairs, the semi-private Marquee and Deck sits among greenery and festoon lights beyond the bistro, for up to 80 standing or 60 seated, without amplified music. Gus's Guestroom, off the main dining room, seats 20 for a private dinner or meeting. Catering ranges from platters and grazing boards to a two-course alternate-drop dinner at $75 per person for 30 or more. Drinks packages start at $45 per person for two hours, or you can run a bar tab or cash bar. Social functions are given a five-hour event period, and the team coordinates weddings, engagement parties and corporate events. Send an enquiry to check dates and spaces.
