About Glengariff Historic Estate
Glengariff Historic Estate is a 30-acre country property on Mount Mee Road in King Scrub, near Dayboro in the Moreton Bay hinterland. It was first worked as a dairy farm by an Irish settler, later grew grapes, and now runs as a wedding and events venue. Only one wedding or event is booked on the estate at a time, so the grounds, rooms and photo spots belong to that group for the day. The grounds take in a lake with a jetty, a vineyard, an old barn, stone arbours, iron gates and wide views across the valley. The Estate Room is the main function space, seating up to 200 for a corporate dinner or 170 for a wedding reception, or holding 250 standing. The Vintage Room seats 50 and doubles as the wet-weather ceremony spot, while The Terrace is an open-air area looking over the estate. Weddings range from elopements for up to 20 guests and micro weddings for up to 40 to full weddings priced on 50 guests. Packages include a coordinator on the day, styling options, a photo booth, lawn games, a bridal suite, a gentleman's lounge and either a bar tab or a drinks package. Christmas parties and corporate days need at least 40 guests. Teams can play the estate's frisbee golf course or book a paint and sip session, and conference set-ups come with a projector, a large screen, a microphone and surround sound. The estate holds a liquor licence, so alcohol cannot be brought in. Food comes from one of three partner caterers at different price points or from your own caterer using the commercial kitchen, and guests can park on site, with room for 75 cars and two coaches.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests can Glengariff Historic Estate hold?
The Estate Room seats up to 170 for a wedding reception and up to 200 for a corporate function, or holds 250 standing. Christmas parties run from 40 guests up to 150 seated or 200 standing.
What do the wedding packages cost?
Elopements for up to 20 guests start at $5,990 and micro weddings for up to 40 guests are from $8,190. Full weddings for 50 guests start at $9,990 midweek, $10,990 on Fridays and Sundays and $12,990 on Saturdays. Extra guests beyond 50 are charged per person, and catering is quoted separately.
Can we bring our own caterer or drinks?
You can bring your own caterer, who can use the commercial kitchen on site, although most couples choose one of the estate's three partner caterers. Alcohol cannot be brought in because the estate is fully licensed, so drinks run through a bar tab or a drinks package.
How is a wedding date secured?
A non-refundable deposit of $1,500 holds the date and comes off the package price. What remains is split into instalments before the big day rather than paid in one sum.
Is there parking and transport for guests?
Guests can leave up to 75 cars on site, and a separate lane takes two 56-seat coaches. For corporate and Christmas bookings the team can also help organise group transport with a central pick-up.
