Eatons Hill Hotel is a large entertainment hotel on South Pine Road in Eatons Hill, on Brisbane's northern fringe. Under one roof it has nine bars, a restaurant, a nightclub, a gaming room, a gin distillery and boutique accommodation, along with more than 16 spaces for functions. Function rooms range from intimate to very large, taking anywhere from 5 to 500 guests. The Grand Ballroom tops the range, with bars and toilets on both the main floor and the mezzanine, and it handles gala dinners, conferences and cultural weddings. For social parties there is a desert-styled rooftop with white breeze blocks, stone walls, cactus and palms, and the Fig Tree Deck, a private deck with covered areas beside an old fig strung with fairy lights. The Olive Tree Deck sits in the beer garden, with live music and sport on the LED screen. The Lounge, right by the bar with windows onto the fig tree, is often booked for weekend 18ths and 21sts. The Talbot Room, a cellar-style space tucked under the main bar, can be set up for a private dinner. Corporate groups can use the Hills Room, the Green Room and the Hub Rooms, which have drop-down screens, 65-inch TVs that connect to a laptop, and tea and coffee facilities. Team-building days can take in the outdoor lawn or a gin-making workshop at the distillery.
