About Canvas Club

Canvas Club is a vintage-inspired cocktail bar and kitchen on Logan Road in Woolloongabba's antique district. The bar pours cocktails, wine and craft beer alongside a rustic food menu, and takes private functions in two rooms or across the whole venue. The Tailors is a private room beside the main bar, styled as a 1920s speakeasy with art deco lighting and gold finishes. It seats 12 to 24 for a set menu, or holds 20 to 60 for canapés and drinks. The Secret Garden sits behind the bar, filled with flowers and greenery under a retractable roof. It seats 12 to 20, or takes 20 to 50 standing, and the two rooms can be combined for up to 120 with two private bars. Whole-venue hire covers the main bar, both rooms, a dance floor and private booths for up to 150 standing. Friday and Saturday bookings carry a minimum spend, and a food package is required on those nights. For groups over 15, cocktail packages begin at $40 per person, and the feasting menu, served grazing style down the table, is $75 per person. Drinks run on a pre-paid bar tab, a cash bar or both, with a set list of signature cocktails to choose from. Cocktail food packages for groups over 15 range from $40 per person for three canapés and one substantial item to $55 per person for five substantial items. The feasting share menu is $75 per person, plus $10 for dessert.

Party platters of 60 pieces are $260 to $290, and grazing boards are $290. A minimum spend applies on Friday and Saturday, and a $250 booking fee secures the date.

Food

The feasting menu comes in three styles: a classic table with steak, calamari and croquettes, a Spanish table of tapas and tacos, and a New York table built around deep-dish pizzas. Canapés include curry puffs, arancini and gyoza, with substantial items such as sliders, calamari and karaage chicken.

Most dietary needs can be catered for, and menus change with the seasons.

Beverages

Drinks are served on consumption through a pre-paid bar tab, a cash bar or a mix of both. Wine, sparkling, house beers and ciders are on the list, and spirits can be added to the tab.

You can also pick four signature cocktails for the night, priced from $16 to $24 each.

Availability
