About Brunswick Hotel
The Brunswick Hotel stands on the corner of Brunswick and Kent Streets in New Farm, close to the Brisbane River. It is a busy local with a bistro, a lounge bar, a sports bar and a large beer garden, and it treats functions as a core part of the business. There are six function areas that can be used on their own or joined together. They run from intimate corners for small groups to open spaces for a big crowd. The Full Garden takes up to 150 guests, with a fairy-lit tree at its centre, greenery in repurposed kegs, local street art, lawn games and a retractable half roof for sun or cooler nights. Within it, the Deck holds 70 among lean bars and cushioned benches, and the grassed courtyard is a quieter corner for a smaller group. Indoors, the Half Lounge takes 30, the Main Bar takes 40 under fairy lights, and the two combine as the Full Lounge for 100, with a dance floor and screens with media ports for slideshows. The Bistro hosts cocktail parties and dinners, with a projector, TVs and a microphone at no extra cost, and the Brunswick High Bars sit in its bright back section. Catering comes as platters for 8 to 10 adults or bespoke set menus, with dietary needs catered for. Drinks packages run for three or four hours, or you can set up a bar tab with a spending limit. The team can add table linen, balloons, a cake stand and a Spotify playlist, with musicians or karaoke at extra cost. A deposit secures the space. Send an enquiry to start planning.
