About The Rose Garden Shangri-La
The Rose Garden Shangri-La is a garden wedding venue on Male Road in Caboolture, set on five private acres. The owners are retired keen gardeners and rock and roll dancers who built the venue themselves, and the rose beds now flower every season. Ceremonies take place on the lawn under a choice of two arches, with seating for 50 and a white aisle, and there is an undercover spot if the weather turns. Around them are rose and sub-tropical gardens and Bali-style huts. Receptions are held on an undercover deck with dining tables for 50, and more guests can be seated outdoors by arrangement. After dinner the party moves to a festoon-lit jetty over a private lake, which serves as the dance floor beside a three-metre fountain. This is a BYO venue for food and drinks. Couples can bring in food trucks, a coffee van or a full caterer, or a grazing table can be arranged at $30 per person, and an RSA-licensed staff member serves at the bar. The all-day package includes tables, linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, a Bluetooth PA system, setup and pack down, and an on-the-day coordinator. It also includes two nights in a two-bedroom, self-contained house on the property for the couple and their bridal party. An in-house photographer, a highlights video and a DJ who also sings live can be added. Secure parking is on site, with drop-off close to the dining and ceremony areas.

What do the wedding packages cost?
All-day ceremony, reception and accommodation packages are $7,000 with DIY styling or $7,500 fully styled. Ceremony-only packages are $1,599 with DIY styling or $1,799 fully styled, for three hours of exclusive use.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes. The venue is BYO for both catering and alcohol, so you choose the caterer and the drinks, and an RSA-licensed staff member serves at the on-site bar.
When do ceremony-only bookings run?
Ceremony-only packages run in two slots, 9am to 12pm or 2pm to 5pm, from Monday to Thursday. Friday to Sunday can be booked depending on availability.
Can the bridal party stay on site?
Yes. The all-day package includes two nights in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom house on the property, with its own deck looking over the gardens and fruit trees.
