About The Milton
The Milton is a sports bar and rooftop on Caxton Street in Petrie Terrace, built around big screens, cold drinks and pub food with a lift. Upstairs, the rooftop terrace runs DJ sets and opens to the sky. For functions there are two bookable areas. The main level takes 20 to 50 guests in a section closed off from the public, with the main bar close by, a view of the big screen and a private stretch of the balcony. Below street level is the Locker Room, the venue's main event space. It holds 100 to 300 guests and comes with six booths, extra seating, a dancefloor, its own bar and a DJ booth, and it can be booked through the year. The Locker Room has a pared-back fit-out, so the bar screens and LED lighting colours can be set to suit a brand launch or a themed night. VIP bottle service packages are also offered for this level. Food comes as roaming canapés in three tiers, from $45 to $70 per person, or as platters ordered by the piece. Drinks packages run for two, three or four hours across three levels of beer and wine. The venue lists birthdays, engagement parties, corporate events and brand activations among the occasions it hosts.
