About MAYA Mexican
MAYA Mexican is a rooftop bar and restaurant on level 11 of 757 Ann Street in Fortitude Valley. The look is a Mexican coastal escape, with Latin food, tequila and mezcal cocktails and the city skyline behind the glass. There are six ways to book it. Curtained lounge booths along the edge seat 8 to 16, and the Patio Bar near the entrance has its own bar for up to 39 guests. Add the open-air Courtyard, fringed with cactus, and the Patio Bar takes 40 to 60, or up to 90 with the wet-weather back-up. Half the rooftop holds up to 110, the Main Bar area 90 to 120, and an exclusive buyout of the whole rooftop up to 250. Stand-up events choose from three canapé packages of five, seven or nine canapés, built from house and premium options such as kingfish tostada, chorizo croquettes and lobster torta. Seated groups of eight or more can have a share-style banquet. Groups of at least 45 can take one of two four-hour drinks packages; smaller parties put their minimum spend on a bar tab instead. Arrival margaritas, agua frescas, guacamole and churros can be added. Minimum spends depend on the day and group size, and any shortfall is charged as venue hire. Music comes from the venue, the dress code is smart casual, and 18th and 21st birthdays are not accepted.

Drinks packages are $75 per person (MAYA) or $90 per person (Premium) for four hours. A minimum spend applies, set by day and group size, and the celebration cake is $70 for 12 to 16 serves.
Food
The seated banquet brings guacamole, octopus tostada, chicken skewers, wagyu rump cap, grilled corn and churros. Dietary and vegan menus can be arranged on request.
Beverages
Otherwise a bar tab runs towards the minimum spend, with margaritas, classic cocktails, beer and spirits. A margarita or agua fresca on arrival and a house spirits add-on are available.

What do the canapé packages cost?
Five canapés are $35 per person, seven are $50 and nine are $65. Guacamole on arrival or a dessert canapé can each be added for $5 per person.
Is there a minimum spend?
Yes. The figure depends on the day and the size of the group, and the events team confirms it for your date. If the spend is not reached, a venue hire fee makes up the difference.
What drinks packages are there?
The MAYA package is $75 per person and the Premium package $90 per person, each for four hours and for 45 guests or more. Smaller groups put the minimum spend on a bar tab, with limits set to suit.
Are there any booking rules to know about?
The venue does not take 18th or 21st birthday bookings, and minors need approval and must leave by 8pm. Music is supplied by the venue, and a smart-casual dress code applies, stepping up after 9pm.
