About The Greenhouse
The Greenhouse is a dining house at Quay Waterfront on Skyring Terrace in Newstead, set among ponds, gardens and parkland near the river. Its kitchen cooks over charcoal and wood, with French-style rotisserie, wood-fired pizza and open-flame dishes built around local produce. Functions range from groups of 10 or more through to large celebrations, with seating for up to 220 guests. The Water Terrace is the open-air choice, surrounded by water features with the park beyond. Inside, sit-down dining can be arranged for small and large groups, and the kitchen offers set menus for bookings. Dishes are designed to be shared, which suits long tables of family, friends or colleagues. Outside function times, the restaurant serves lunch from Thursday to Sunday, dinner every night and breakfast on weekends. The bar opens daily from 4pm, and a gelato cart and picnic offerings serve the surrounding parklands. Private events can be held any day of the week.
