About The Coogan Room @ Gailes Golf Club
Gailes Golf Club is a long-established parkland golf club on Wilruna Street in Wacol, in Brisbane's western suburbs. Alongside golf, the club hires out its clubhouse for private functions, from birthdays and engagement parties to business dinners and Christmas drinks. The Coogan Room is the club's main function space. The functions page puts its capacity at up to 150 guests, and the room can be arranged for an intimate dinner or a bigger gathering, with a dance floor and a microphone lectern with PA. Room hire is priced by the length of the booking: $250 for a daytime event of up to four hours, $400 for four to six hours, and $500 for an evening function of up to four and a half hours. The hire fee doubles as the deposit that holds your date. Catering comes from the club's own kitchen, with platters, buffet menus and bar snacks, and the team will put together something custom on request.
