About Sandy Gallop Golf Club
Sandy Gallop Golf Club sits on Lobb Street in Churchill, in Ipswich, around a long-established 18-hole, par 70 course. The bushland layout follows Deebing Creek, and the function rooms look out across the fairways. The function centre has three rooms over two levels: the Small Function Room, the Upstairs Function Rooms and the Downstairs Function Room. Smaller parties of around 20 can take one of the private verandahs, while the main room handles up to 200. The rooms are air-conditioned, the main room has a spacious dance floor, and there is off-street parking and no poker machines. Birthdays, engagements, weddings, anniversaries, wakes and work conferences are all hosted here. Catering is flexible. The club can tailor a package from finger food or a barbecue through to plated gourmet meals, or you can self-cater using a conventional oven and microwave, with no deep fryers or gas appliances on hand. All drinks, including soft drinks, tea and coffee, are bought from the club bar under its liquor licence. Bar service finishes at 11.30pm and guests need to leave by midnight.
