About The Burrow

The Burrow is a pizza, craft beer and live music bar in a classic Queenslander on Russell Street, West End. It has been part of the West End scene for years and runs on a simple idea: good food, good beer and a room full of people sharing both. Inside, long wooden communal tables sit alongside smaller, cosier spots, and the house is split into several areas upstairs and downstairs, plus spaces at the front and back. On weekends the place fills up and takes on a proper party feel, which suits a birthday or an end-of-year get-together. Groups book through the functions team, who suggest an area to suit your numbers. The group menus work for a seated meal or for a looser stand-and-mingle crowd, and every dish arrives in multiples for the table to share. There are three set menus built around woodfired pizzas, starting at $23 per person and rising to $35 per person for the widest spread. All of them need at least 15 guests, and house-made dips with bread can be added for a few dollars a head. Gluten-free and plant-based choices are available, and the kitchen is open to swapping some items. The bar pours six taps from independent breweries that rotate almost daily, along with house cocktails, cider and a range of non-alcoholic drinks. When enquiring, mention whether you would like a bar tab so the team can set it up. Live music plays seven nights a week, so most celebrations come with a soundtrack at no extra cost. The bar is dog-friendly too. Send an enquiry with your preferred date and rough numbers to start planning.
