About Regatta Hotel
The Regatta Hotel is a heritage pub on Coronation Drive in Toowong, looking across the Brisbane River. Its wrap-around iron-lace verandahs are a local landmark, and it has its own CityCat terminal out the front. Functions are spread over four levels and more than a dozen spaces. Upstairs, the Glenolive Rooms are a pair of heritage lounges with verandah access for up to 110, while Level 1 holds the Winterford Room with its black marble bar, the Thornton, Gailey and Gazzard rooms, and the Verandah Bar overlooking the courtyard. Book the whole of Level 1 and you have five connected spaces for up to 260 cocktail-style or 96 seated. Downstairs, The Underground is a moody 1920s-style bar with its Studio, Ladies Lounge and Hideaway and Den, or the full space for up to 200. The Boatshed restaurant seats up to 170 for an exclusive event and is built around a two-metre flame grill. Its wine cellar, the Henley Room, is a private dining room for 22 with its own screen and sound. Food comes as waiter-served canapés, grazing boards and platters, or a seated set menu of two or three courses. Drinks are sold as timed packages, with an arrival cocktail as an extra. Room hire is based on five hours and includes a dedicated coordinator, private staff, linen, a cake and gift table, roving microphones and screen access. Exclusive bookings can bring in a DJ or live band.

Pricing
Platters range from $70 for fruit to $500 for a large grazing board. Chef-plated cake service is $5 per person, or the cake is cut onto platters at no charge.
Drinks packages start at $53 per person for two hours.
Food
Platters cover pizza, sandwiches, skewers, yum cha, sliders and vegan dishes. The set menu offers two choices per course served alternately, such as eye fillet, barramundi or za'atar cauliflower, and low gluten, low dairy and vegan dishes are marked throughout.
Beverages
Packages need at least 20 guests, and every confirmed guest over 18 must be included. An arrival cocktail can be added.

How many guests can the Regatta Hotel host?
Rooms range from the Henley Room for 22 seated to the Glenolive Rooms for 110 standing. The Underground takes up to 200 as a whole, the Boatshed seats up to 170, and Level 1 exclusive hire holds up to 260 cocktail-style or 96 seated.
What does function food cost?
A two-course set menu is $75 per person and three courses $95 per person, for at least 10 guests. Canapés are $7 each and substantial canapés $13 each, ordered in twenties, and platters and grazing boards run from $70 to $500.
Are there drinks packages?
Yes. The Standard package is $53 per person for two hours, $68 for three and $81 for four. The Premium package, which adds spirits, is $65, $78 and $93 per person, with a minimum of 20 guests.
Can we bring a DJ or our own music?
Background music plays free during every function. Exclusive bookings may hire a DJ or live act, or you can plug a phone or laptop into the Bluetooth system. Noise limits apply on the balconies from 10pm.
Does the hotel host weddings?
Yes. The wedding team runs cocktail receptions in the smaller rooms through to seated banquets for around 80, with set packages or a build-your-own option, and can suggest stylists and other suppliers.
