About MIRRA
MIRRA is an event venue inside a converted warehouse at 86 Bridge Street in Fortitude Valley. It hosts weddings, corporate functions and private celebrations such as engagement parties and birthdays, with an event manager looking after each booking from planning through to the day itself. Taking the whole venue gives your group four connected areas: the Main Room, the Long Room, the dance floor and the courtyard. Between them there is room for 350 guests standing, or 180 at tables. The Main Room sits under vaulted ceilings strung with fairy lights. The Long Room is moodier, with chesterfield lounges, a chandelier and a pair of gold handmade doors that open onto a courtyard planted with gardenias and hung with festoon lights. Smaller groups can book half the venue, called the Cocktail Lounge, which covers the Long Room, the mirrored dance floor and the courtyard for up to 90 standing or 40 seated. Both options come fully equipped, with set-up and pack-down included, and the space stays private and wheelchair accessible. Couples can hold the ceremony in the courtyard and move straight into the reception, with an arbour, bentwood chairs and a wet-weather backup. How many guests can MIRRA hold?
The full venue takes up to 350 guests cocktail style or 180 seated. The half-venue Cocktail Lounge suits up to 90 standing or 40 seated.
What's the difference between full and half venue hire?
Full hire gives your group the Main Room, the Long Room, the dance floor and the courtyard to yourselves. Half hire, known as the Cocktail Lounge, covers the Long Room, the mirrored dance floor and the courtyard.
Can we hold our wedding ceremony on site?
Yes. Courtyard ceremonies run for an hour and a half and come styled with a timber arbour and bentwood chairs, with a wedding manager on hand. There's a wet-weather option and dogs are welcome, but the ceremony has to be booked together with a reception.
Does MIRRA host Christmas parties and work events?
Yes. Christmas parties, networking evenings and day conferences all run here, with an event manager assigned to each one.
How is pricing worked out?
