About Kensington Tavern

Kensington Tavern is the local pub on Julie Street in Crestmead, in Logan. It runs a bistro, a sports bar with pool tables and screens, and a separate function room for private celebrations. The function room is fully private, with its own bar and its own toilets, so your group never has to queue with the rest of the pub. The team arranges the tables to suit the event, from long banquet rows to an open floor for mingling. The room holds up to 80 guests for a cocktail-style party, 60 seated for a meal, or 50 in theatre rows for presentations. It is air-conditioned and comes with a projector and screen, in-house music and speakers you can connect your own playlist to. Food is handled by the pub kitchen. There are share platters for grazing, two buffet menus with roasts, casseroles, salads and dessert for groups of 30 or more, and plated alternate-drop menus of two or three courses. Room hire is charged by the day of the week, and the deposit covers that fee. The team can also dress the room with balloons, coloured runners and chair covers, and you are welcome to bring your own cake. Security is required for 18th and 21st birthdays and for any function of 50 or more guests. Send an enquiry to check dates and talk through layout and menus.
