About Caxton Street Brewing Co

Caxton Street Brewing Co is a brewery and bar at 52 Petrie Terrace, on the edge of the CBD near Caxton Street. Beer is brewed on site, and the venue runs trivia, comedy and sport on the big screens through the week. Functions are spread across four areas. The Tasting Room behind the brewery has polished concrete and exposed brick, and takes 85 standing or 70 seated for semi-private or exclusive hire. The Brewery itself, with its tanks and pub fit-out, holds 130 for a cocktail-style party or can be split into two semi-private areas of 70 and 50. The Bunker downstairs has its own bar and holds 175, with The Whisky Room inside it taking 80. Every space has a house PA, projector or screens, HDMI, wifi and air conditioning, and The Bunker adds a concert-grade sound system. That makes the venue suit speeches and presentations as easily as birthday parties. Food is ordered by the platter, from sliders and tacos to arancini, wings and antipasto boards. Drinks run on three-hour packages or a bar tab, and you can send an enquiry for any space with your date and numbers.

Pricing

Drinks packages run for three hours: $88 per person (standard), $98 per person (premium) and $118 per person (the full range). A bar tab can be set with your own limit.

Food is priced by the platter, from $42 for mini pies to $120 for an antipasto board, with most platters between $50 and $88.

Food

Platters include smashed cheeseburger, buffalo chicken and barramundi sliders, mini prawn and pulled pork tacos, and chicken wings in Korean, smoky barbecue or lemon pepper styles.

There are also crostini, truffle and pumpkin arancini, spring rolls, mac and cheese bites, mini pies and an antipasto board. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options are available.

Beverages

Packages pour the brewery's own beer on tap and in cans, alcoholic ginger beer, rosé, sauvignon blanc, shiraz, non-alcoholic beer and soft drinks. The premium adds prosecco, spritzes and spirits, and the top package opens the full wine and spirits lists.

A bar tab lets you set the limit, the drinks on offer and which guests can use it, and staff keep track of it during the event.
