About Cannon Hill Tavern
Cannon Hill Tavern is a local bistro, bar and gaming venue on Southgate Avenue in Cannon Hill. It is a casual, family-friendly pub with modern interiors, plenty of parking and public transport close by. Two semi-private spaces are set aside for functions. The restaurant is the larger, a contemporary dining room with flexible seating for up to 55 at tables or 120 standing. The terrace is an undercover outdoor area with a leafy outlook and lots of natural light. It holds 30 seated or 50 cocktail-style and suits relaxed catch-ups, after-work drinks or a milestone celebration. Function food is built around share platters, including an Aussie platter of party pies and meatballs, a yum cha platter, an antipasto board, a seafood platter, a hot meat platter and vegan and gluten-free options. The kitchen will work around allergies and intolerances where it can. Drinks can be set up as a Classic or Premium package for two to four hours, with a cocktail on arrival or a spirits upgrade as extras. A bar tab with a set limit or a cash bar are also on offer.
