About Browns Plains Hotel
Browns Plains Hotel has been the local pub on Browns Plains Road since 1976, sitting across from the Grand Plaza shopping centre. Alongside the bistro, sports bar and a handful of motel rooms, it runs two spaces set aside for private events. The function room is fully enclosed and air-conditioned, with a bar of its own and private bathrooms. It seats 60 and takes up to 100 standing, and works as a blank canvas you can dress with your own decorations. The bistro terrace is the outdoor option, a covered area that seats 80 and fits up to 100 for a semi-private gathering. It suits a relaxed birthday lunch or an evening work event outdoors. Catering comes from the pub kitchen. Choose an alternate-drop plated menu of two or three courses, a roast and curry buffet for groups of 30 or more, or share platters that each feed eight to ten guests. For drinks, set up a bar tab with a limit you are comfortable with and top it up during the night, or let guests buy their own at a cash bar. Tea and coffee stations can be added for daytime events. The function room hosts everything from family gatherings and birthdays to weddings and corporate meetings, and you are free to bring in your own music or entertainer.
