About Victoria Point Bowls and Recreation Club
Victoria Point Bowls and Recreation Club is a community club on Poinciana Avenue with two bowling greens, a bar and a bistro. Alongside its pennant teams, it opens the greens to non-members for barefoot bowls, so a group can turn up shoeless and have a go. The club suits a party or group booking on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday afternoons, as long as rinks are free. Staff at the bar hand out bowls in every size, and the green fee and equipment come in one price, so there is nothing to bring except the crew. Kids are part of the fun too. Under-12s play free, the youngest players can use light foam bowls, and children need an adult keeping an eye on them on the green. In the warmer months, twilight games let a group bowl into the evening at their own pace. Lovely community feel at the Viccy Point bowlo. Everyone is so friendly and so many different activities. Love the open air, real grass bowling greens! Bare foot bowls. Trivia night. Great meat raffles on Friday nights.
