About Hills Celebrant Services
Hills Celebrant Services is the celebrancy of Natasha Hill, a full-time marriage celebrant living in Greenbank, on Brisbane's southern side. She has spent more than 16 years officiating weddings and describes her style as calm, bright and highly organised, with a strong eye for planning detail. Couples choose between three published packages. Short & Sweet is a legals-only option of roughly ten minutes with the minimum legal wording and two witnesses, held at a spot you pick, such as a park, a lookout or your own backyard. The Personalised ceremony runs about 30 minutes and is written with you, from your own vows to rituals such as a sand ceremony, candle lighting or handfasting. That package also includes a rehearsal and her Bose PA system with a handheld microphone. For couples who would rather not hand the microphone to a relative, the Celebrant & MC package adds reception duties. Natasha welcomes the married couple and bridal party into the room, handles housekeeping, keeps the night on schedule and introduces the speeches, cake cutting and first dance. A fourth option bundles celebrant, MC and content creation. Weddings she has led span Brisbane venues including Hillstone St Lucia, Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens, Sirromet at Mount Cotton, Victoria Park Golf Club and the City Botanic Gardens. How much does a wedding with Hills Celebrant Services cost?
The Short & Sweet legals-only package starts at $550 on a weekday and $660 on a weekend. The Personalised ceremony starts at $1,200 on a weekday, and the Celebrant & MC package from $1,850.
What does the Personalised ceremony package include?
It covers meetings, preparation and lodgement of the legal paperwork, help with vows and readings, a rehearsal, a ceremony of around 30 minutes, her Bose PA and handheld microphone, and a presentation marriage certificate.
Can Natasha also MC our wedding reception?
Yes. The Celebrant & MC package adds reception duties: welcoming the couple and bridal party, housekeeping, keeping to the timeline, and introducing speeches, the cake cutting and the first dance.
What is the Short & Sweet legals-only ceremony?
It is a brief ceremony of about ten minutes with the minimum legal wording and two witnesses. It is held on weekday mornings and includes two short planning meetings in Carindale and the legal paperwork.
Are there extra costs on top of the package price?
A travel fee applies for ceremonies further out from her home in Greenbank, and parking fees are added for venues in the Brisbane CBD. Weekend rates are higher than the weekday prices.
