About Christina Towler Celebrancy
Christina Towler is a marriage celebrant based in Ferny Hills on Brisbane's northside. Registered since 2008, she has conducted more than 500 weddings and travels across Greater Brisbane to officiate. Her approach is inclusive and personal. She wants every couple's story, culture and humour to show in the ceremony, and she starts by meeting over coffee at her home or by video call to see if you are a good fit. Packages suit different styles of wedding. The Works is a fully bespoke script with rituals, readings and a rehearsal. The Essential package is a set ceremony with personal touches such as a reader, ring exchange and your own vows. A legals-only ceremony covers just the couple and two witnesses. For small weddings, the Elope with me package is held on her decorated deck in Ferny Hills. It includes up to 20 guests, an arch and flowers, and an hour of photography. Christina was born in Denmark and spent much of her childhood in Sweden. Her Viking-inspired ceremony draws on that heritage, with options such as handfasting, a mead blessing, rune symbolism and parts delivered in Danish or Swedish. The bespoke package adds a weekday rehearsal at her home or by Zoom and unlimited contact while you plan. Witnesses can be supplied for $50 each.

How much does Christina charge?
Wedding ceremonies range from $600 to $1,300. A legals-only ceremony is $600, the Essential set ceremony is $1,000, and the fully bespoke Works package and the Viking-inspired ceremony are $1,200 each.
What is the Elope with me package?
A ceremony on Christina's decorated deck in Ferny Hills for up to 20 guests, with an arch, flowers, music, a bottle of sparkling wine and an hour of photography. It is $749 Monday to Thursday and $799 Friday to Sunday.
Is travel included?
Travel is included within 30km of her home in Ferny Hills, and 50km for her top package. Beyond that she charges per kilometre, and parking fees may apply.
Can parts of the ceremony be in Danish or Swedish?
Yes. Her Viking-inspired ceremony can include selected moments in Danish or Swedish, along with optional rituals such as handfasting, a mead blessing and an honour circle.
How do we get started?
Meet Christina in person at her home in Ferny Hills or by video call. If you go ahead, you complete the Notice of Intended Marriage at least a month before the wedding and pay a $200 deposit to secure the date.
