About Debbie Payne Celebrant
Debbie Payne is a marriage celebrant based in the Moreton Bay region, around Samford and Dayboro. Her ceremonies are relaxed and modern, with warmth and humour, and her aim is to keep the whole process easy so the day stays about the two of you. She offers three packages with published prices. Legals Only keeps it to the couple, a pair of witnesses and Debbie, with one meeting to sort the legal requirements. Eloping and Registry Style adds a choice of three short ceremony scripts you can adjust, for up to 14 people at a location of your choice. The full wedding package is written around your story using a questionnaire for each of you, with up to three meetings and unlimited email and phone support. On a full wedding day Debbie arrives an hour early to help with details such as buttonholes, keeps water ready for the groom, directs guests before and after the ceremony and brings a MiPro PA system and a ceremonial pen for the register. A rehearsal at any Brisbane metro venue is included. Every package covers the Notice of Intended Marriage, lodging the paperwork and a ceremonial marriage certificate. Ceremonies in Moreton Bay and the Brisbane metro area carry no travel charge. Debbie also leads commitment ceremonies, naming ceremonies and vow renewals. Legals Only and Eloping and Registry Style run Monday to Thursday. Friday to Sunday is available for those two packages for an extra $75.
Is travel included?
Yes, for ceremonies in Moreton Bay and the Brisbane metro area. Car parking and any car ferry fees are extra, and some further-away locations are quoted on request.
What happens on the day of a full wedding?
Debbie arrives an hour early to help with buttonholes and last details, directs guests before and after the ceremony, and brings a MiPro PA system and a ceremonial pen for signing.
How many guests can come to an elopement?
The Eloping and Registry Style package suits up to 14 people, with a short ceremony chosen from three styles that you can adjust to suit.
