About Princess Charters

Princess Charters is a small, family-owned Brisbane business that runs private trips on the Aussie Princess, a 45-foot Steber flybridge cruiser. She is licensed for up to 24 passengers, and every booking has the boat to itself, with a captain and a crew member included. A second, smaller boat called Viva suits very small groups of up to eight. On board there is a roomy cabin, a big rear deck, a large bow and two lounges up on the flybridge, plus a galley, fridges and ice boxes. All charters are BYO food and drinks, and music runs through a Bluetooth system. Extras include a photographer, beverage delivery to the boat, styling and decorations, and a pool party package with an inflatable pool and deck. River charters have a three-hour minimum and cruise past the city skyline and the Story Bridge, timed for sunset if you like. The longer Moreton Bay trip crosses to Moreton Island for swimming and snorkelling around the Tangalooma wrecks, with a cap of 18 guests. The team names birthdays and surprise parties, engagement parties, anniversaries, corporate events, hens and bucks parties and weddings among the trips it hosts. For weddings it can help line up a celebrant, photography, catering and styling.

Brisbane River charters are $750 per hour with a three-hour minimum, and the Moreton Island and Tangalooma day trip is $750 per hour with an eight-hour minimum. Food

All Princess Charters trips are BYO food, with a galley, fridges, cutlery and plates on board. Cheese, charcuterie, deli, fruit and sandwich platters can be ordered for 8 to 10 people each, and the team recommends local caterers for fuller menus.

Beverages

Drinks are BYO on every Princess Charters trip, with fridges and ice boxes on board and glasses supplied. A beverage delivery option lets you pre-order beer, wine, bubbles and soft drinks so they are waiting on the boat when you arrive.

Princess Charters boards at the Murarrie Recreation Hub and the Hamilton public pontoon, with New Farm Park and the City Botanic Gardens pontoons for a fee. River charters run a three-hour minimum on the Brisbane River, and Moreton Bay day trips to Tangalooma run eight hours.
