About Oasis Brisbane
Oasis Brisbane is a 35-metre steel-hulled powered catamaran that works as a floating function venue on the Brisbane River. Its three decks each have their own bar, sound system and feel, so a single event can move between quite different spaces over the course of a cruise. The whole vessel can be hired exclusively from Monday to Friday. Private bookings start at 80 guests and decks are opened progressively as numbers grow, with seating for 100 to 450 and room for up to 550 across all three levels. The events team lists corporate functions, conferences, product launches, charity nights and weddings among its private bookings, and quotes each one on its own requirements. A fully retractable awning covers the boat, so it cruises in rain or shine. Guests get canapés or an à la carte menu from the onboard kitchen, a resident DJ and bars pouring cocktails, beer, wine and bubbles. Wheelchair access is on the ground level and there is a designated outdoor smoking area on the second deck. On weekends Oasis runs ticketed day and night cruises for over-18s. Birthday groups and hens or bucks parties often book a private VIP booth on these sailings, with packages that include priority boarding, a dedicated table, a host and bottle service, and the team also runs end-of-year celebration cruises for work groups.

Frequently asked questions
When can Oasis Brisbane be hired exclusively?
Exclusive private hire of the whole vessel is available Monday to Friday. Weekends are kept for the ticketed public cruises, where groups can instead reserve a private VIP booth.
How many guests does a private Oasis Brisbane event need?
Private hire starts at 80 guests. Decks are opened progressively as numbers grow, with seating for 100 to 450 people and capacity for up to 550 across the three levels.
Does Oasis Brisbane host weddings?
Yes, weddings and wedding receptions are hosted on board, on weekdays only. Weddings carry a minimum spend of $35,000, and the events team builds a quote around your guest list and menu.
Can we celebrate a birthday or hens party on Oasis Brisbane?
Yes. Hens, bucks and birthday groups usually book a VIP booth on a weekend cruise, which gives you a dedicated table, a host and a drinks package. A cake can be brought on board for a $50 cakeage fee if you arrange it ahead.
What happens to an Oasis Brisbane cruise if it rains?
The vessel is fully covered by a retractable awning, so cruises run in all weather. Only in rare extreme conditions would a sailing be called off, and the team gives notice if that happens.
