About Sun Ranch
Sun Ranch is a small boutique hotel on 55 acres of regenerated farmland at Coopers Shoot, in the Byron hinterland. Its interiors mix '70s California with Spanish touches, and it hosts weddings, milestone birthdays, retreats and corporate events. The Rambler Longhouse is the social centre. It holds the Cowboy Bar, The Lair with its sunken lounge and open fireplace, a Whiskey Lounge built around music, and the open Breezeway linking them. Outdoors, the Field House is an open-air dining space with communal tables and fires, suited to 50 to 100 guests. Mellow Fields, a broad grassy slope framed by hills, takes up to 150, and the mineral-pool Pool Club holds 50 to 60. Events are fully staffed, with food and drink packages, event planning and entertainment arranged by the team. Weddings are designed to stretch across a few days, so guests can settle in rather than rush through one afternoon. Corporate groups use the property for strategy sessions, leadership retreats, product launches and team celebrations. Wellness options include a wood-fired sauna, ice baths and morning yoga in the Garden House. A Full Ranch Buyout hands the group every room, amenity and event space, with accommodation for up to 34 guests in pool suites, two-bedroom barns and a private suite.
