About Nutting Hill Villa
Nutting Hill Villa is a private estate on Bangalow Road in Clunes, set on about 100 acres of the Byron hinterland. The main house is built in a Tuscan style, with a tower, a turret and an arched portico, and the grounds run through a macadamia orchard to formal lawns, tropical gardens and a lake. Ceremonies can be held in the shaded orchard, beside the lake, on the northern lawn, at a spot looking over the valley, or in front of the villa. There is also an open-sided timber chapel, the Pavilion On The Green, which gives couples cover from the weather without closing out the garden. For the reception there are two covered spaces. The Plantation Room seats up to 200 guests, while the Pavilion On The Green suits a smaller reception. Both have polished concrete floors, fairy lights and open sides, with covered areas for caterers and room for music and dancing. The estate supplies the venue and accommodation rather than food. Couples choose catering, styling and planning from recommended local suppliers who work there often, and fireworks are allowed as part of the night. Bookings are exclusive use, so no other events or visitors share the grounds. The villa sleeps up to 16 guests, and the estate also hosts engagement dinners, anniversary weekends, milestone birthdays and retreats. Send an enquiry to arrange a viewing of the grounds.
