About Stone & Wood Byron Bay Brewery
Stone & Wood's Byron Bay brewery sits on Centennial Circuit in the Arts and Industry Estate, off Ewingsdale Road. The brewery calls it the heart of the business: a 31-tank working brewery with a tasting room, a canteen kitchen and a leafy beer garden. The tasting room pours the core range alongside small one-off pilot brews made in-house, plus ginger beer and non-alcoholic options for anyone skipping the beer. A brew deck sits above the tanks, reached by a gangway. The brewery takes private events in two ways. While it trades, it can host groups of up to 50 in the tasting room and garden. In the evenings, the whole venue can be booked exclusively for up to 120 people. Function catering comes from local caterers, who can set up grazing tables, pass canapés or serve a sit-down shared dinner. During the day the canteen also serves burgers, tacos and share plates, with vegan, gluten-free and vegetarian options. Groups can add a guided brewery tour, a pour direct from one of the tanks or a guided flight through the core beers. Tours run for about 90 minutes and finish with five beers, though they are for over-18s only and are capped at 12 people at a time. Wheelchair users can reach the tasting room and beer garden, which have accessible toilets, and dogs are welcome in the garden. There is free parking in the brewery car park.
