About Balcony Byron Bay
Balcony Byron Bay is a coastal Italian restaurant and bar on the upper floor of a heritage building, on the corner where the town runs down to Main Beach. Events range from a small dinner in its private room to a takeover of the entire building. The Palms is the wraparound balcony that sits right above the street. Ferns hang from the rafters over whitewashed timber walls and tiled tables, with string lights overhead, and it holds 60 seated or 80 standing. The Private Dining Room sits behind an arched heritage window at the front of the building. Teal timber walls, low industrial pendants and hanging ferns give it a character of its own, and its doors open onto the balcony. It seats 20, or 16 in a conference layout. The Palms can be joined with two neighbouring areas, Cosy Corner and the Dining Room, to seat up to 140 guests, or booked together with the Private Dining Room. Exclusive hire hands over every space at once, the deck included, for up to 140 seated or 200 standing. Guests eat from the same Italian menu as the main room, with a drinks list built around sharing. Weddings can stretch over a weekend: canapés and cocktails on the balcony the night before, the reception on the day, then a breakfast with bloody marys the next morning. The venue takes milestone birthdays, engagement parties, work functions and wedding receptions. Send an enquiry and the sales manager will follow up with the event pack.

Centrally located in the hub of Byron. I recommend booking ahead if you want to reserve a balcony table for dinner. The food was delicious and there were lots of drinks to choose from. We had an enjoyable evening.
