About North Byron Hotel

The North Byron Hotel sits on Bayshore Drive in Byron Bay, a short way out of the town centre. It is a relaxed pub set among tropical plantings, with indoor dining that opens onto a covered deck and a broad garden. Functions can take one area or the whole venue. The Lounge holds 30 and, combined with the side deck, up to 100 in a breezy, weather-protected space with lounges, low chairs and high tables. Speakers there can be separated from the rest of the pub for speeches. The indoor restaurant has two sections for 30 and 40 guests, or it can be booked as a whole for a seated meal of up to 70. Large glass doors and windows keep it light, and guests share one long dining setting. Outside, the garden is split into a section for 40 and another for 120, and the full garden can host up to 400. It is furnished with picnic tables, wine barrels, benches and stools, with umbrellas for shade and vinyl DJs on weekends. Food comes as shared set menus built around local produce, from olives and pizza through to king prawns, halloumi and striploin. There are vegan, vegetarian and low gluten dishes across the menus, and the kitchen will talk through other dietary needs. Drinks can be pre-ordered as bottle packs of bubbles, wine, local beer, cider and alcohol-free options, alongside 32 beers on tap. The pub has its own car park and offers guests a free local shuttle. Send an enquiry to book and the events team will tailor the menu and space.
