About Rainforest Gardens
Rainforest Gardens is a family-owned venue at the top of Mount Cotton in the Redlands, set among century-old hoop pines, palms and gardens on a 27-acre property. Ponds, fountains and a small farm of alpacas, Highland cows and poultry fill out the grounds. Ceremonies take place in the Amphitheatre, where the couple stands on a cantilevered deck above a pond and guests sit on tiered timber seats. It seats around 130 with room for 150, has built-in speakers and a wireless microphone, and the undercover Bell Tower is the wet-weather option. Receptions move to The Pavilion, a roofed, open-air structure on the mountainside with a large viewing deck facing Moreton Bay and its islands. It seats 100 for dinner or 150 for cocktails, has blinds and heaters for cooler months, and comes set with timber banquet tables and crossback chairs. Full ceremony and reception packages give exclusive use of the venue, an on-the-day coordinator, a planning meeting, buggy transport, catering, staff and reception furniture. They start from $14,878 with the booking fee included and drinks charged separately, and include chalet accommodation on the wedding night. Smaller options include ceremony-only packages from $2,500, a celebration add-on from $3,800 and a mini reception for up to 30 guests. Beyond weddings, the venue hosts engagement parties, baby showers, memorial gatherings and Christmas functions in The Pavilion.
