About Blacksite Gel Ball
Blacksite Gel Ball is an indoor gel ball field in Hillcrest, in Logan on the southern side of Brisbane. Gel ball is played with blasters that fire soft gel beads rather than paint. The arena is built to feel like a real town, with houses, markets, shops and restaurants to move through. Casual sessions run for three hours. Staff sort everyone into teams, so a group can play together or mix with other players. Tactical sessions keep each squad together for objective-based rounds with breachable doors, hidden passages and changing missions. The layout is changed regularly, so return visits play differently. Play is semi-auto only, every blaster is checked against a 330 FPS limit, and face protection is compulsory. The rental package covers entry, a blaster and magazine, unlimited gels and a full face mask. Players with their own kit can buy general entry instead. The venue pitches private bookings at parties, team-building days and groups of friends, and private sessions are arranged by enquiry. Players must be 12 or older. Drinks are sold on site, and there is a lounge area with sofas for parents and spectators.
