About Maison Fleur
Maison Fleur is a floral design business with studios around Brisbane City – one in a heritage sandstone building at the mouth of Spencer Lane, one on Burnett Lane, one in the Gasworks precinct at Teneriffe and one in Kangaroo Point, which also houses its floristry school. The business is led by floral designers Bart Hassam and Carolyn Williamson. Weddings are designed from a consultation with the team's wedding specialist. The studio looks after the flowers the couple carries as well as the ceremony and reception pieces, building one collection for the whole day around seasonal blooms. For functions, the team works out what suits the gathering, from a relaxed dinner party at someone’s house through to a big public occasion. Event and function work is centred on the CBD and the precincts around it, and the gallery shows full-scale set-ups: lush urn arrangements at a bar, a big floral piece against a timber-panelled wall and long hanging foliage strands installed by hand. Corporate clients use the studio for launches, brand activations, conferences, corporate parties and end-of-year celebrations, as well as reception and boardroom styling.
