About Studio Monfleur
Studio Monfleur is a Brisbane floral design and styling studio run by founder Monique, who worked across Europe for more than a decade before bringing that design sensibility home. The work is modern and romantic: abundant, textural flowers with natural movement, sculptural forms and a restrained colour palette. Couples choose from three services. Floral design covers bouquets, ceremony installations and reception tablescapes. Styling design shapes the room itself – layout, furniture, linens, lighting and candles. The full-service package brings both together with creative direction, floor plans, sourcing and liaison with the venue and other suppliers. The process starts with an enquiry and a short questionnaire, followed by a consult and a tailored proposal and estimate. A contract and retainer lock in the date. After that, the studio builds a detailed design brief with moodboards, visual references and mock-ups, refining it until the final details are confirmed close to the day. Past weddings include a celebration at The Calile Hotel styled with clean lines, draping and warm candlelight. Only a small number of full-service weddings are taken on per season, and the studio suggests enquiring up to 18 months ahead for that package, though shorter lead times can work. Frequently asked questions
How much do Studio Monfleur wedding florals cost?
Floral design starts from $5,500, styling design from $4,620 and the full-service package from $10,120. Labour, travel and installation are quoted separately depending on the venue, guest numbers and requirements.
Do we have to book both florals and styling?
No – either service can be booked on its own. The studio does suggest combining them when you want one creative direction across the flowers and the room, so every element works together.
How far ahead should we book Studio Monfleur?
Up to 18 months ahead is suggested for the full-service package, and April, May, September and October dates go early. Shorter lead times, including within three months, can still work subject to availability.
How is our wedding date secured?
After the consult you receive a tailored proposal and estimate. The date is held once the quote is accepted and the booking retainer is paid, and the design keeps evolving from there.
Do we have to be part of every design decision?
As much or as little as you like. Some couples join every creative conversation while others leave it to the studio, which holds the overall vision either way and works through moodboards and mock-ups.
