About Flair Floral
Flair Floral is a flower studio and shop on the main street of Wellington Point, overlooking Moreton Bay. It is run by florist Glenys Mercer, who has spent more than 25 years in the trade – in boutique retail, in her own design studio and in wholesale flowers – before opening Flair Floral. Her daughter Cassie works beside her in the studio and on installations across Brisbane. Weddings start with a consultation, where the design is built around the couple's style and inspiration and then carried through to installation on the day. Past couples mention custom arbour pieces and a Pinterest board turned into the real thing. Corporate and event work is a big part of the studio's output. The team designs for corporate dinners, gala nights, product activations and launch events, and has handled rooms of up to 800 guests. A large range of vases and candleware is kept in-house for centrepieces. The gallery shows dressed gala tables, a lectern arrangement for a council ceremony, a floral backdrop for an anniversary stage and wedding ceremony seating framed by flowers.
