About Project Immersive
Project Immersive is a locally owned escape room business set up inside the old paint factory on Hyde Road in Yeronga. Every game takes place in Area 1, an invented research facility where the science has gone badly wrong. The puzzles, props and sets are made in Brisbane with local artists, sound engineers and voice actors. Hosts stay in character as you arrive, but there are no scare actors inside the rooms. The escape rooms, such as The Portal for first-timers and Nuclear Enrichment, are story-led and take two to six players. The challenge rooms are quicker and score-based. In A Quiet Game, one player wears a suit that sharpens hearing and dims sight while hunting down the others. For birthdays and work events, three packages are on offer. Continuum runs a team of three to six through two rooms back to back, while Fission splits seven to 20 people into teams that play at the same time. Double Helix does the same, then swaps the teams into a second room. Sessions outside normal hours can be arranged on request. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a game cost?
Standard bookings are $60 each for a pair, $49 each for three or more players and $44 each once the group reaches eight. Event packages are priced per person by format, and a $49 deposit per room holds the booking.
How big a group can you take?
Each escape room takes two to six players, and the challenge room takes four to eight. The Fission package handles seven to 20 people split across rooms, with at least three players in each, and Double Helix suits seven to 18.
Are the games suitable for children?
The rooms are designed for players aged around 15 and up, as they include darkness, loud noises, flashing lights and some mature themes. Families have played with younger children at the parents' discretion, and anyone under 14 needs an adult with them.
Is food or drink available on site?
No food or drinks are served at the venue. The team suggests a handful of local cafes and restaurants around Yeronga for a meal before or after your game.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Not at this stage. The rooms are reached by a large flight of stairs in the old factory building, and the games use strobe lighting and loud sound, though hearing protection is offered to players.
