About Fox in a Box Brisbane
Fox in a Box Brisbane runs ten themed escape rooms from the first floor of 150 Edward Street in the Brisbane CBD. Each booking is private, so only your own group is in the room, and every team gets an hour to solve its way out. Game masters watch and listen from a central control room and step in with hints when you ask. The rooms range from easier family games to tough puzzles for seasoned players. Prison Break, Wild West Saloon and Mastermind Heist suit first-timers, Zodiac Killer and Zombie Lab add a few jump scares, and The Other Side, Tesla's Mystery, Bunker and Chamber of Lost Legends are the hardest. Most rooms take two to six players, and the twin prison cells let two teams go head to head. The venue fits up to 60 players at a time, with exclusive use for big groups, and runs packages for kids' birthdays, adult birthdays, hens and bucks parties, team building and Christmas parties. A licensed lounge sells bottled beer, cider, pre-mixed drinks and soft drinks, and catering can be arranged on weekdays for groups of 13 or more. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers to plan a group booking.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can play at once?
Most rooms take two to six players, and some can fit seven on request. Prison Break Head to Head puts two teams in identical cells for larger groups, and booking every room lets up to 60 people play in the same time slot.
How much does it cost per person?
The price per player drops as the team grows: $52 each for two players, $49 for three or four, $47 for five or six, and from $45 for seven or more. Corporate and Christmas packages start at $45 per player for one game or $80 for two.
Can children play, and what age is recommended?
Everyone is welcome, though ages 10 and up are recommended, and children under 7 play free. Anyone 14 or younger needs a guardian there at arrival and when the game ends. Several rooms can be adjusted for younger players, and there are kids' birthday packages.
Is there a bar, and can we eat at the venue?
The lounge is licensed and sells bottled beer, cider, pre-mixed drinks, soft drinks and snacks. Alcohol is not served in the 10 minutes before your game starts. Catering platters can be arranged Monday to Friday for groups of 13 or more playing at least two games.
How long should we allow for the visit?
Each game lasts up to 60 minutes. Arrive at least 15 minutes early for the briefing, and allow about an hour and a quarter in total, or two and a half to three hours for a two-game package. Allow extra time if you plan to have drinks.
