About Escape Hunt Brisbane
Escape Hunt Brisbane runs seven themed escape rooms from a basement on Russell Street in West End. Each game gives your team an hour to find clues, solve puzzles and complete a mission, and a game host briefs you first and passes on hints if you get stuck. The rooms cover plenty of ground. Alice in Puzzleland, Aladdin & The Magic Vault, Blackbeard's Treasure, The Jewel Thief, Bomb at Government House and Legend of the Sword each have their own set and storyline. Most take two to six players, and Legend of the Sword fits four to ten. Bigger groups book several rooms at once and play head to head. The venue runs packages for 10 to 46 players covering adult birthdays, hens and bucks parties, kids' parties for ages 7 to 15, team building and Christmas parties, and these run for two to three hours. There is a lounge with tea, coffee and board games for waiting, plus a small snack bar. Alcohol and prepared food are not served, though food and drink packages can be added to an event booking. The doors are never actually locked, so anyone can step out for a break, and several rooms are wheelchair accessible. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers to plan a group booking.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can we bring?
Most rooms take two to six players, with five suggested for the smoothest game, and Legend of the Sword takes four to ten. Larger groups book several rooms side by side, and party and corporate packages cater for 10 to 46 players.
How much does it cost?
Rooms are priced per person and get cheaper as the team grows: $50 each for two players, $48 for three, $46 for four and $45 for five or more. Team events start at $45 per person, or $53 per person with a private event space.
Can kids play, and is there a minimum age?
The rooms suit ages 7 and up, and children under 7 play free alongside at least two paying players. Players younger than 15 must have someone 15 or older playing alongside them, or two such players in Legend of the Sword. Kids' birthday packages are for ages 7 to 15.
How long should we allow?
Each game lasts up to 60 minutes, and with the briefing and team photos the whole visit takes about 90 minutes. Arrive 10 minutes early. Party packages run for two to three hours in total.
Is there food and drink at the venue?
A small snack bar sells soft drinks, chips and light snacks, and the waiting lounge has free tea and coffee. The venue does not serve alcohol or prepared meals, but food and drink packages can be arranged for event bookings.

This is my second time at this location and I have enjoyed both times i have been here. The escape rooms are challenging but heaps of fun. We had a lovely lady named Bee host us and she made the experience way better.
