About Prison Island Brisbane
Prison Island Brisbane is an indoor team game set inside a prison-themed space on Alfred Street in Fortitude Valley. The floor holds 35 small cells, and each one hides a single challenge that might test speed, aim, logic or nerve. Players form teams of two to five and move between cells in any order, retrying the tricky ones as often as they like while the overall clock keeps running. Each success earns between 25 and 100 points, and screens in the reception and game areas show live standings. Some cells now step up through three difficulty levels. Game time can be set at 60 to 120 minutes, and group and party sessions usually run for around 90 minutes. Larger parties are divided into several teams, which makes it an easy fit for big birthday groups and office outings. Alongside the game floor there is a reception lounge with a bar and seats, and food and drinks can be bought on site, including vegan and gluten-free options. It is air-conditioned, and sneakers with comfortable clothes are the way to go. Players need to be at least seven, and a team without an adult must all be 14 or older. Prison Island runs dedicated packages for birthdays, hens and bucks parties and team building. Send an enquiry with your numbers and preferred date to plan a group visit.
