Surfing, sustainability and a paintbrush come together at Hang 10 Distillery on Ponderosa Parade. The Warriewood craft distillery and bar ferments the base spirit for its gin and vodka from unsold bread collected from local bakeries, and distils on renewable energy.

Its creative workshops pair art with a drink and suit every skill level, so no one needs to have painted before.

Two workshops to choose from:

Watercolour and gin: a local artist teaches either ocean scenes or botanical studies.
The inclusions: a G&T each, something to nibble and all paints and paper.
Gin glass painting: hosted by local artist Kara Sargent, with a few easy decorating techniques.
The keepsake: each guest leaves with a hand-painted glass to use at home.
Booking: groups enquire to book a private workshop on a date that suits.
