Bucks Party Venues in Pyrmont

How Bucks Party Venues Actually Work

Up to 34 rotating taps of mostly independent Australian beer is a solid foundation for a groom's big night. Quarrymans Hotel has traded at 214-216 Harris St, Pyrmont, for more than a hundred years, and three parts of the pub can be closed off for a bucks crew.

Ways to set up the groom's night at Quarrymans:

The Beer Garden: 25 to 45 mates with no minimum spend, just a deposit to hold it
The Rooftop: a Palm Springs-themed cocktail bar across a full level, with a DJ booth, terrace and indoor couches for 100
The Lounge: a whole level with its own bar, balcony, toilets, TVs and sound system for 110, From $3,500 minimum spend
Drinks: a bar tab capped at your limit, or a three- or four-hour package
Food: canapé packages once the group reaches 30

Evening functions finish by midnight and the outdoor areas shut at 10pm, so get the rooftop terrace time in early and have the after-party venue lined up before the night starts.

The Lounge has TVs and a wireless microphone, handy for the best man's roast of the groom
The Rooftop runs its own sound system from a DJ booth, so bring in a DJ or line up a playlist
Bar staff know the tap list well and can point each guest towards their next beer
Both private levels have their own toilets, so the group isn't queuing with the public bar

Booking the bucks

Functions run for up to five and a half hours
