Christmas Party Venues in North Richmond

What to Know Before Booking Christmas Party Venues

For a Hawkesbury team wanting its end-of-year function away from the office, The Lakehouse in North Richmond hands the whole venue to a single company on any date. The room overlooks Redbank Lake and opens to a private terrace.

Why a work Christmas suits this lakeside room:

No sharing: exclusive hire means no other diners, so the boss's thank-you speech stays among staff.
Presentations: the built-in projection and ceiling speakers handle a year-in-review slideshow.
Team size: a sit-down Christmas lunch for as many as 120, or drinks and canapés for 180.
Menu formats: alternate-drop plated meals, a buffet, shared platters or canapés, all cooked in house.
Cost: spend on food and the bar replaces a room fee, from a $3,000 minimum spend on weekday days.

Staff, tables, linen and crockery come with the booking, so the social committee only has to settle the menu and drinks.

A weekday lunch is the most economical slot and leaves the afternoon for drinks on the terrace.
Corporate days are part of the venue's regular trade, so the events team is used to working to a run sheet.
Round tables suit a seated meal with table service, while cocktail tables keep a bigger team mingling.
The front balcony gives a spot for a group photo with the water behind.

Christmas catering and bar choices

A plated alternate drop keeps a formal lunch moving on time.
A buffet or grazing platters suit a relaxed afternoon where people drift between room and terrace.
The company can set a bar tab budget, run a drinks package, or charge drinks on consumption.
Dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-free, are handled by the kitchen.
