Birthday Party Venues in North Richmond

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

Milestone birthdays in North Richmond centre on The Lakehouse, a purpose-built room on the edge of Redbank Lake. It stands where a dairy farm once ran, and only one party has the place on any given day.

That means the bar, the terrace and the dance floor belong to your guests from arrival to farewell.

What a lakeside birthday here looks like:

Guest list: a dinner party of 120 at the tables, or a cocktail crowd of 180 on its feet.
Speeches and slideshows: a motorised screen comes down from the ceiling for a photo montage.
Music: the in-ceiling sound system reaches both the room and the terrace, and there is space for a dance floor.
Food: canapés, a buffet, shared plates or grazing platters from the in-house kitchen, with vegan and gluten-free guests looked after.
Budget: no room charge here; a weekday daytime party is priced at $3,000 minimum spend across catering and the bar.

Furniture, linen, glassware and staff are part of the hire, so a 21st, 40th or 60th needs little more than a cake and a playlist.

A long lunch for a 60th or 70th suits the seated layout, with water views from the big windows.
A 30th that runs late suits the standing format, with guests spilling onto the private terrace and front balcony.
The timber rafters and sandstone accents look finished without styling, though a stylist can dress the room if you want a theme.
The entry-level spend is set for midweek daytime, handy for a family lunch honouring a grandparent.

Bar options for a birthday crowd

Free-flowing drinks packages keep the bar simple for the host.
A bar tab with a limit you choose works well when the birthday person is shouting the first rounds.
Drinks charged on consumption suit a group where not everyone is drinking.
Whatever the format, the in-built bar is staffed by the venue team for the whole event.
