High Tea in Haymarket

Tiered stands of savoury bites and sweets with Chinese flavours, tea at the table, and ponds and pavilions outside the window: high tea in Haymarket happens at One Dining Teahouse, inside the Chinese Garden of Friendship at the southern end of Darling Harbour.

The dining rooms have dark timber, lattice screens and round banquet tables, and every high tea set includes entry to the garden, so a stroll through the grounds becomes part of the afternoon.

• Three sets: a weekday set and two larger sets served every day
• Bookings from 11am to 3pm, with tables held until 4pm
• Styled tea parties for birthdays, festive gatherings and corporate groups
• Custom menus and table arrangements through the events team
• Private and semi-private spaces when the group outgrows a table

Prices are from $68 per person. Groups larger than 20 should email the team directly to arrange the booking. Town Hall and Central are the obvious train stations for Haymarket.
