Christmas Party Venues in Clarendon

What to Know Before Booking Christmas Party Venues

Teams from RAAF Base Richmond, the racecourse, the showground and businesses along Hawkesbury Valley Way have a family-owned pub a few minutes away for their end-of-year function. Clarendon Tavern, known locally as Claro, sits at number 244 on that road, between Windsor and Richmond.

Its upstairs Claro Room keeps a work party separate from the public bar, and the whole venue can be hired exclusively for a larger company celebration.

Setting up a work Christmas at Clarendon Tavern:

Seated function: the Claro Room seats up to 100, away from the main bar
Speeches and slides: an AV projector upstairs for the year in review
Fixed per-head cost: the buffet is From $40 per person, with a minimum of 30 guests
Casual drinks: the covered front patio takes up to 70 under fairy lights
After-work mingle: the beer garden holds up to 85

A bar tab keeps company-paid drinks under control, and the balcony off the Claro Room gives staff somewhere to step out between courses.

Roast beef and chicken in creamy mushroom sauce
Vegetarian cannelloni for non-meat eaters
Salads, dessert and a tea and coffee station
Optional charcuterie, sliders and rice paper rolls as extras

Choosing the right Claro space for the team

Small team drinks: reserve the patio or beer garden rather than the full room
Department dinner: the Claro Room has its own bathrooms and dance floor for later
Whole-company party: book the pub exclusively
Platters instead of a buffet: party pies, wings, seafood and sushi by the platter
