Two friends who had played well over 220 escape rooms between them built The Cool Space Escape Rooms, a small independent studio at 2/134 Abercrombie Street, Chippendale. Josh writes the stories, graphics and technology, Daniel builds the sets and the hidden mechanisms, and both worked as game masters elsewhere before opening their own.

Every booking is private, from $65 per person, and actors in Seance never touch players. Sweethearts uses fog, flashing lights and loud sound effects.
Sweethearts takes two to eight players and Seance two to six. Running both games together covers a larger group.
It isn't recommended for anyone under 16, because of its jump scares and live performers, though the actors never touch anyone.
Each group has a gamemaster one-on-one, and hints are unlimited with no penalty.
