Birthday Party Venues in Cabarita

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

Guests can arrive by ferry, car or even boat for a birthday at Vela Dining & Bar, on d'Albora Marina inside Cabarita Park. The outlook stretches 270 degrees over Sydney Harbour and the Parramatta River.

It has two spaces, a restaurant and an alfresco bar, and both can be booked exclusively.

How Vela handles a birthday:

A seated milestone dinner: Vela Dining, the air-conditioned restaurant, takes up to 80 or 90 at tables.
A cocktail party: the restaurant clears for up to 160.
Drinks before dinner: Vela Bar, alongside, takes up to 80 standing.
Canapés: exclusive-use cocktail parties run from $69 per person for three hours, with a deluxe package above that.
A smaller table: group lunches or dinners can be booked without a buyout.

The events team can arrange the cake, a DJ, flowers and theming.

An exclusive birthday needs 50 or more guests, and the party wraps up by midnight.
Exclusive bookings attract a service fee, and a deposit locks in the group.
Drinks come as a package or on consumption against a per-head minimum.
For bigger numbers, extra cost buys a marquee on the boardwalk or the neighbouring parkland.

Getting guests to the marina

A ferry and bus stop are a few minutes away.
Cabarita Park has plenty of room to park.
Guests with a boat can tie up at the marina's visitor berth.
The trip out from the city is roughly 15 kilometres.
