Birthday Party Venues in Jewells

Balloons, platters and a bar tab rolled into one package take most of the legwork out of a birthday at Jewells Tavern, the local on Ntaba Road. Besides its sports bar, bistro and beer garden, the pub sets aside several areas for parties from 10 to 120 guests.

That range stretches from an 18th on the deck to a 50th filling the lounge, set up for mingling or sitting down.

Four places in the tavern to hold the party:

• The Loft – upstairs on the mezzanine, with a private bar; 40 seated, double that standing.
• The Lounge – the tavern's biggest space, for 120 on their feet or 80 at tables.
• The Deck – also known as the BBQ area, a quieter outdoor corner by the fish pond for 30 to 40.
• Beer garden – a relaxed afternoon option with standing room for 100.
• Cake allowed – the one outside item you can bring in is a celebration cake.

Party packages start from $1,000 minimum spend, with room hire, five platters or pizzas, a bar tab, five bunches of balloons and table linen; the Diamond package doubles the platters.
